This year will be my 28th year in education and my 20th here at TKMS. I’ve kind of worked my way around the West Michigan area…I grew up in Muskegon, went to Hope College in Holland, got a Masters Degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, and worked in the Cassopolis and White Pigeon school districts south of Kalamazoo before coming to TK in 1990.
My wife Connie and I have been married for 27 years. We have two daughters, Megan (22) and Molly (16); two cats (Frank and Bob) and two golden retrievers (Boomer and Yogi).

These are my two daughters, Molly (left) and Megan, on a spring break trip to South Carolina. This picture was taken in downtown Charleston, SC near some of the historic homes on the waterfront. We stayed just south of Charleston on Edisto Island.
Molly is a junior at the high school this year. She is in band and plans to play basketball and softball. Megan is a recent graduate of Davenport University with a major in Human Resource Management. She currently works as a Customer Service Representative at the main branch of Hastings City Bank in Hastings and has just started working on her Masters Degree in Human Resources.
